We are delighted to invite you to the INGENIOUS 1st Full Scale Exercise (1st FSX) to be held in Villejust, France, on Tuesday 24 May and Wednesday 25 May 2022. In conjunction with the 1st FSX, the INGENIOUS 1st International Workshop on the “Tools for the First Responder of the Future” will be held in a hybrid mode, focusing on the different needs and challenges faced by First Responders today.
A joint press release with our cluster projects RESPOND-A and FASTER has been issued, following the online workshop on Augmented Reality for First Responders held on 20 April 2021.
The Augmented Reality solutions of INGENIOUS will be presented at the online workshop titled “How can Augmented Reality enhance First Responders’ capabilities”, which will take place on April 20th 2021 between 09:50 and 12:00 am CET. The workshop is the first in a series of open workshops organised by our DRS Cluster project RESPOND-A, addressing new technologies for first responders.
Wildfires, floodings, earthquakes and man-made incidents are striking Europe on a regular basis. These crises are often unforeseen and elicit a complex response mechanism, involving different categories of first responders such as firemen, police, medical operation teams and volunteers. The participation of such heterogeneous groups with specific operational procedures and chain of command, poses real challenges in terms of coordinating actions and getting a clear overview of the emergency response.
INGENIOUS will participate in the “CERIS – DRS- Discussion on Technologies for First Responders for Disaster Risk” which will take place on the 24th of February 2021 from 10h to 12h CET.
