The Small Scale Test #13 (SST #13) of the INGENIOUS project tested and evaluated the INGENIOUS K9 vest (ICCS) during the search of victims in damaged buildings which are too dangerous for entering for the first responders.
An aid mission was organised by the international organization ISAR Germany and the Humanitarian Aid Department of the Federal Association of Rescue Dogs (BRH) to provide support to those affected by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on the 14th of August 2021. Search-and-rescue efforts and recovery operations were activated to help the thousands of people who were injured or even killed.

The German aid organisations I.S.A.R. Germany, humedica and CADUS deployed a medical team to Namibia from the 17th of October until the 30th of October 2020.
A novel testing, training and experimentation programme of 27 Laboratory Integration and Testing sessions (LITs), 18 Small Scale Field Tests (SSTs) and 2 Full Scale Field Validation Exercises (FSXs) will be realised within the lifecycle of the project. Technical partners and end users will follow closely the laboratory testing activities, realise field tests of the initial versions of functional prototypes towards benchmarking and ultimately operate the Toolkit as a whole in two large field validation activities to be held in M34 and M41 of the project.
Our partners in I.S.A.R. Germany are currently supporting the joint RKI/EMT/GOARN mission deployed by the Centre for International Health Protection (ZIG) at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) to bolster the effort of the Republic of Kosovo to respond to COVID-19 pandemic. The 2-week mission is organized by the RKI in close co-operation with WHO and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) and will end on the 3rd of October.
A few weeks ago an enormous explosion devastated the port area of the city of Beirut and everything surrounding it. The large explosion rocked the capital of Lebanon, killing several people and wounding others. The death toll from the powerful blast rose to 190, and more than 6,500 people have been injured.
