The INGENIOUS state-of-the-art technologies are being presented in the dedicated to the Natural Hazards session of the DG HOME “Community of Users – DRS Workshop” which is held virtually on 14-17 September 2020. INGENIOUS will most notably deliver the innovative Next Generation Integrated Toolkit (NGIT), which integrates robotic, IoT and Augmented Reality technologies, for both the First Responder himself and the accompanying K9 Units. The advanced tools and services which will be integrated into the first responder’s uniform, boots and helmet will enhance his operational capacity, while allowing the immediate assessment of the level of danger at the emergency scene.

The workshop focuses on #Disaster Resilience & #Risk Reduction thematic fields and more specifically:

• Natural Hazards: September 15, 2020 from 14 to 17h
• Standardisation: September 16, 2020 from 10 to 12h
• CBRN: September 17, 2020 from 14 to 17h

Capability gaps and research needs are being discussed among projects which are active in the Disaster Resilient Societies area. Representatives of key projects in the area have gathered to discuss the state-of-the-art progress and build up possible synergies among projects in different thematic fields.
