INGENIOUS Official User Workshop in France, Paris
The INGENIOUS_EU Official User Workshop was held on 19-20 November 2019 at our partner’s SAMU de PARIS – Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades premises in Paris, France.
INGENIOUS organised the Official User Workshop on user needs at Month 4 of the project, as was identified in the GA. The basic purpose of this workshop was the collection of the users’ requirements and comprehending the operational framework.
First responders presented the way they operate when called to save lives in a man-made or natural disaster revealing to technologists their needs and insufficiencies detected. It was a very good step towards recording user requirements to drive the developments of the various tools which INGENIOUS has to offer towards protecting FRs, increasing their situational awareness and operational capacity and at the end saving more lives.
The involvement of consortium’s end user and technical partners and externals was necessary to discuss the main aspects towards extracting functional and non-functional requirements of the entirety of the INGENIOUS Toolkit. More specifically, during the Official User Workshop, the First Responders presented the way they operate when called to save lives in a man-made or natural disaster revealing to technologists their needs and insufficiencies detected. This gathering was a very good step towards recording user requirements to drive the developments of the various tools INGENIOUS has to offer towards protecting FRs, increasing their situational awareness and operational capacity and in the end saving more lives.
