The INGENIOUS vision for the First Responder of the Future is being presented during the Mediterranean Security Event which is organised by the Greek Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) and the European Commission’s Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs. The INGENIOUS Next Generation Integrated Toolkit armours First Responders with novel technology to conduct their response duties safely.
The aim of the MSE 2019 is to bring together innovative research and development projects, as well as experts, practitioners, researchers and academics from across the security sector to facilitate interaction and synergy. INGENIOUS participates in the MSE 2019 as Co-organiser with Booth, presenting its innovative technologies. INGENIOUS also organised a workshop entitled “INGENIOUS: First Responders for the Future”. The workshop was co-hosted by collaborative H2020 projects IN-PREP, RESISTO, MEDEA & INGENIOUS. Practitioners from all relevant projects (ASSISTANCE, CURSOR, FASTER and RESPONDRONE) as well as representatives from IFAFRI and INSARRAG were invited to discuss FRs needs according to among several aspects.
