Our partner Trilateral Research presented its research as part of the INGENIOUS project on the Privacy, Legal & Ethical issues in advancing technology in disaster zones.

The presentation entitled “Advancing Technology in Disaster Zones: Privacy, Legal and Ethical Issues” took place at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, on 6 November 2019. The event, which was organized by the Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG), attended 10-15 people, mostly Junior Research Associates and Research Associates at PILPG (ordinarily master’s students), some Senior Research Associates (early-career lawyers, academics, etc.).

INGENIOUS was presented as a great example of where technology could be helpful, but could also raise ethical concerns.
