With great pleasure, INGENIOUS participated in the DRS Information Day on the 14th June 2021, organised virtually by the Community of European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS).

The INGENIOUS solutions for the First Responder of the Future were presented, while interesting discussions were conducted together with our sister projects ASSISTANCE, FASTER, CURSOR, INTREPID and RESPOND-A.

Following the fruitful meetings in the Disaster-Resilient Societies (DRS) Thematic Area held from February to May 2021 within the “Community of European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS)”, the DRS Information Day provided a snapshot of main research-related recommendations and perspectives collected from discussions in the areas of societal resilience, technologies for first responders, support to Sendai FWA, climate extreme events, multihazard risk management (critical infrastructures) and pandemics. In this context, panel discussions took place around the different themes with key DRS actors, and information was provided on Horizon Europe DRS topics for 2021-2022.
